The Kryzsko Commons Student Union is your go-to location on campus for just about anything. You’ll find places to eat, study, meet, and just hang out. Whether you need to complete a group project, or want to de-compress with friends, this is the spot for you.
Access Resources
WSU offers a wide variety of resources to support students with their academics, mental and physical health, housing, safety, and other basic needs. And if the services you need aren’t located in Kryzsko Commons, you’ll be routed to the right place on campus or in the community.
Student Union Resource Center
The Student Union Resource Center is like the front desk for the Student Union.
This is students’ go-to space forgeneral questionsabout campus, lost and found items, and borrowing free resources like a bike, recreation equipment, and games.
The Meditation Room is for students to de-stress or calm their nerves before an important event. This room includes a foot bath and comfortable seating.
The Wellness Room is a space available for individuals who are nursing to use a breast pump.
This lactation room is on the ground floor of Kryzsko Commons and offers a sink, soft seat, side table, and changing table.
WSU students, faculty, and staff, as well as Winona community members can use this space.
WSU Student Union & Activities contracts with an attorney in Winona to provide free legal advice to enrolled students.
This service is offered only during the academic year and is not available over holiday and summer breaks.

Free Bike Checkout
Want to take a ride by the lakes or run an errand across town?
Students can borrow a bike and related equipment at no cost through the Student Union Resource Center in Kryzsko Commons.
Stop by the desk whenever it’s staffed (and before dusk) with your Warrior ID to check out a bike. Bikes are available from March – November (weather permitting) for up to 5 hours per day.
Users are responsible for lost or damaged bikes at the true cost of repair or replacement.
Enjoy Lounge & Study Spaces
Kryzsko Commons Student Union features plenty of places to socialize and study.
Whether you’re alone or with a group of friends, there’s plenty of tables, booths, and couches to hang out. There’s also study rooms for those wanting a quieter space to work.
Affinity Credit Union Lounge
In the Affinity Credit Union Lounge on the ground floor, students can find an ATM as well as pool tables, ping pong tables, a foosball table, and a shuffleboard.
There are also booths, tables, and chairs for both hanging out and studying.

Game at the Esports Lounge
Whether you’re a new player or seasoned veteran, the Warrior Esports Lounge is a place for you to enjoy video games and hang out with fellow gamers.
Here you can play more than two dozen games on PCs and Nintendo Switches—all for free!

Fire Feature Patio
Between the Courtyard and Kryzsko Commons is the Fire Feature Patio.
Students can study, socialize, and roast s’mores and hot dogs throughout the year.

Kryzsko After Dark
The Warrior Entertainment Network takes over the Student Union for Kryzsko After Dark once a month.
Some past activities have included karaoke, circus performances, bingo, trivia, photobooths, magicians, and even free Panda Express.
I Love WSU Day
I Love WSU Day is a pep rally to welcome students to back campus and celebrate why we love WSU with games, activities, giveaways, and more.
Winterfest
This event encourages everyone in the community to get together and celebrate the winter season.
From seasonal events like cookie decorating and card-making, to beverage samples and discounted Panda Express, this event is something you won’t want to miss.

The Winonan is WSU’s student newspaper.

Located on the upper level, the Jack Kane Dining Center is a classic cafeteria with an all-you-care-to-eat buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Zane’s Food Court is located on the ground level.
This food court has Starbucks and Panda Express, plus a variety of options from sushi and burgers to smoothies and snacks.

George manages the Kryzsko Commons Student Union facility, events, operations and maintenance; strategically develops and oversees capital improvement and construction projects for the student union; provides support to the food service operation; and provides oversight of the student activities programs and activities including serving as an advisor to the Warrior Entertainment Network and Student Senate.
George oversees the Warrior Esports Lounge and Esports programming on campus.
